Typical duties involve routine clerical work involving the performance of standardized account-keeping tasks in maintaining and checking financial accounts and records; entering and retrieving information using computer database or spreadsheet software; supervision over others is not a responsibility of employees in this class; does related work as required.
*MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:* Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED and EITHER and two years of full-time paid office clerical experience or its’ part-time equivalent; OR one year of full-time paid experience or its’ part-time equivalent in the compilation and maintenance of financial accounts and records; OR successful completion of a post high school course in accounting or bookkeeping; OR an equivalent combination of raining and experience as defined above.
The position pays $17.
50 per hour (2023) and starts at $18.
20 in 2024, and includes a full benefits package.
Successful completion of a civil service examination will be required for permanent appointment.
