us/personnel/examinations* *Qualified Candidates MUST meet the following requirements on or before the last date for filing an application for this examination:* *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: *Graduation from high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma\* and EITHER: (A) Two years of full-time paid office clerical experience or its’ part-time equivalent; OR (B) One year of full-time paid experience or its’ part-time equivalent in the compilation and maintenance of financial accounts and records; OR (C) Successful completion of a post high school course in accounting or bookkeeping; OR (D) An equivalent combination of training and experience as defined by the limits of (A), (B), and (C) above.
\*NOTE: Candidates who do not possess a high school diploma or GED can qualify if they possess all of the experience requirements of both (A) and (B) above.
*Special Requirement:* The position in this classification in the Chenango County Area Agency on Aging’s Nutrition Program may require operation of a motor vehicle on an occasional basis.
To be considered for this position, at time of appointment and continuing throughout employment, a candidate/incumbent must possess a valid New York State Driver’s License, a reliable vehicle, and a driving record acceptable to the County’s insurance carrier.
